Two alternative tracks are offered: the interdisciplinary methods course with a 20 hp thesis portion, or the methods course with a 15 hp internship and a 5 hp thesis portion.

Either a 45 hp or a 30 hp degree project in sustainable development of coastal areas may be chosen, together with the 5 hp advanced course on scientific methods.
