Mandatory criteria: Swedish citizen MINDPLEX AI is a specialized defense technology startup developing secure edge AI solutions. Established at KTH Innovation, batch 19, the company currently collaborates with the Swedish Armed Forces and participates in a pre-commercial procurement initiative with the Swedish Defense Materiel Administration (FMV) and UIC Defense, Uppsala’s defense incubator. We are seeking an AI Engineering Intern with a robust background in Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to join our team in Sweden and contribute to the development of localized RAG and AI applications. Responsibilities • Design, build, and optimize advanced RAG pipelines. • Integrate small language models with vector databases and secure knowledge bases. • Develop and test scalable AI components using Python. Requirements & Qualifications • Mandatory Criteria: – Must be a Swedish citizen. – Must reside locally in Stockholm or Uppsala (on-site requirement). • Technical Background: Practical experience deploying RAG systems and vector databases (such as Qdrant, Pinecone, or LangChain). • Core Skills: Proficiency in Python and modern AI/ML toolchains. • Education: Background in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or a related technical field.
