Turkic Languages 1, 30 credits and at least 22.5 credits from Turkic Languages 2
The course introduces Turkic linguistics, the structural features of the Turkic languages, the Turkic language type and language contact. Exercise in linguistic analysis is also included. Outline for distance course: The course is given online and taught via the University's learning platform Studium and through Zoom. Access to a computer with speakers, microphone, camera and internet connection is required to follow the course. The course has a mandatory meeting on campus consisting of a written exam in Uppsala.
