The course focuses on English-language texts in different formats and genres such as novels, poems, plays, illustrated stories, and films. Employing basic literary concepts, you will read and analyse some works for children and young people, and acquire an understanding of how different texts can be used in future teaching. You will also develop your ability to express yourself in English through oral and written tasks. Outline for distance course: The distance course is based on self-study and communication through the web-based learning environment, which contains all information regarding the course and course activities. Teaching takes the form of study instructions and exercises, and discussions. Access to a computer with an internet connection is required to follow the course. Teaching and examination are carried out via the web-based learning platform and Zoom. No meetings on campus are included. Scheduled mandatory online meetings occur. Note that a distance course requires as much effort as an ordinary campus course.
