Mechanics Basic Course and participation in Scientific Computing, 5 credits.
The course describes flows in gases and fluids. By using the physical laws flows in pipes and channels can be calculated, which can be used to e.g. drive pumps or electrical turbines. Different types of flows are also considered, laminar and turbulent.
