60 credits within Engineering programmes. Introduction to Quality Technology for Engineers. Participation in Statistics for Engineers.
The course deals with various statistical engineering tools in the area of quality, where application of the different tools to different processes is central. The focus is on industrial design of experiments where, among other things, complete, reduced and repeated two-level factorial tests are included. Concepts and methods in trial planning such as residuals, interaction diagrams, models, randomization, blocking, Kacker's graph and robust construction. Statistical quality control. Durability parameters. Application of computer support for calculations.
