This course covers ocean waves and wave power technologies as well as basic technology, systems aspects and miscellaneous aspects related to these topics. In the topic of ocean waves formation, characterisations, wave climate, energy content, resources and measurement are studied. Within Wave power technologies different concepts for wave power technology are studied, among them oscillating wave columns (OWC) and point-absorbers (PA).
