120 credits in science/engineering including Multivariable Calculus, Electromagnetism, Automatic Control and a basic course in statistics. Participation in Mechanics Basic Course, or it could be taken in parallel. Proficiency in English equivalent to the Swedish upper secondary course English 6.
This course provides a technical overview of wind power systems, from individual turbines to full-scale wind farms. Topics include aerodynamics, mechanics, electrical systems, and control strategies. It also covers transport, installation, grid connection, operation, and maintenance. Emphasis is placed on system modeling and control, including pitch and stall regulation, and integration into the power grid.
