60 credits chemistry including General Chemistry, Chemical Principles I or Basic Chemistry, as well as Physical Chemistry I, or The Basic Principles of Chemistry.
The course builds on previous courses in physical chemistry. It provided knowledge of surface chemistry and the chemistry of colloids in solution from a physical-chemical perspective. During the course, an introduction is given to the most common methods for studying structure and interaction in colloidal solutions as well as to applications for colloidal systems.
